I feel like The Mandalorian really understands what’s attractive in a man more than any other show I’ve ever seen. They really said “here’s this quiet but kind man in a sexy armor who is competent and good with kids and also he likes dogs” like they really did it.

netflix’s inaccurate subtitles are frustrating, like you pay the site, you don’t expect for something like that to be rushed. changing or disregarding a few words of dialouge in the subtitles can alter the tone of the entire sentence which is a disservice to viewers that need closed captions for accessibility

I think the most incredible part about Queen and Freddie is that every person. Every. Single. Person. Who has ever loved their songs, or just one song, or the band in it’s entirety, thinks of Queen as theirs. It’s their band. It’s their songs, they were written for them. That one Queen title, that one they’ve been in love with for years - that song is just for them, those lyrics were written just for them, that bassline plays just for them.

And they’re right. It IS just for them

And it’s also for all of us.

We all have our Queen songs we have fallen completely in love with, so much so that whenever we hear them in real life without expecting it, it feels like some sort of sign. Or a blessing.

I have those songs, you have those songs. 

And those songs that I love were written just for me, and sung and played just for me. 

And those songs that you love were written and sung and played just for you. 

One of the most magical parts of Queen is that they play their music for us, so much so that, despite being one of the most popular and legendary bands on Earth, it’s so…personal for everyone.
It’s so personal that hearing certain melodies on certain dates or at certain times can make us burst into tears.

Next time you’re listening to Queen, and you catch yourself thinking, this is my song - 

Remember that it is. It’s just for you, only you. And only for me. And only for everyone. These songs that we love, that we feel like belong to us, they do. That’s exactly what Freddie and the band wanted.
